Cookie Trends to Watch This Fall (2025 Edition) 🍪🍂

Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons to bake for. There’s something magical about cozy flavors, warm colors, and the excitement of celebrations that makes cookies even more special this time of year. At Cookie Whipped, we love tapping into the season’s spirit while adding our own creative twist. As we’ve been prepping for fall 2025, I’ve noticed a few trends that are shaping what’s baking up in kitchens everywhere, and I’m excited to share them with you.

 

 

One of the biggest flavors making a comeback is, of course, Pumpkin Spice 🎃. It’s a classic, but it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. For us, it’s about preserving that nostalgic flavor while adding subtle details that surprise and delight. That’s why our Pumpkin Spice cookies, back this September, feature hand-piped designs that look as good as they taste.

 

 

Another trend this fall is playful Halloween designs 👻. From spooky yet cute characters to moody gothic themes, decorated cookies are becoming a centerpiece at parties. As a team, we had a great deal of fun designing our 2025 Halloween Collection. We leaned into the nostalgia of trick-or-treating while also giving grown-ups something chic to enjoy, cookies that double as party décor.

 

 

We’re also noticing a shift toward personalized cookies for gatherings and gifts 🎁. People want treats that feel thoughtful and customized, whether it’s a name piped onto a cookie or a set designed to match a party theme. This fall, we’re focusing on designs that celebrate milestones, back-to-school, birthdays, and cozy family get-togethers, because every occasion deserves a sweet touch!

 

 

And then there’s something close to my heart: community and purpose-driven baking 💛. More and more, cookies aren’t just about flavor or looks; they’re about the story behind them. As a team, we’ve made it part of our mission to use Cookie Whipped as a way to give back. That’s why we’re running our nonprofit survey and giveaway this season, letting our community nominate organizations to win 100 free cookies. It’s a trend we hope never goes out of style, using what we love to spread joy to others.

I'm a mom, graphic designer, and a creative who found my purpose in the most unexpected of places. Nine years ago, my life took a drastic turn after a total loss apartment fire. That moment, as devastating as it was, became the unlikely catalyst that "whipped up" this business. From the rubble, I started designing and baking. It was my way of creating joy, finding a purpose, and rebuilding a life that was truly my own.
